FGvW nominated as "Law Firm of the Year for Mittelstand Enterprises"

The German Mittelstand is an institution. It represents 99% of the companies in Germany and 80% of the apprenticeship positions. Mittelstand companies provide more than every second job in Germany. Medium-sized companies stand for independence, for long-term thinking and sustainable relationships with customers, suppliers and employees, for reliability and innovative strength. In Germany, often there is (still) a family of entrepreneurs or a family foundation behind large Mittelstand companies. Mittelstand is not a question of size or turnover: Bosch - with its annual turnover of almost 80 billion euros - is also proud of its status as a Mittelstand enterprise. Mittelstand is a question of attitude, of entrepreneurial spirit.

We at FGvW see ourselves as a "Mittelstand" company. Not only because, in addition to large international groups, we advise many Mittelstand companies - in some cases for generations. But also because we are entrepreneurs ourselves and advise entrepreneurs at eye level.

It is therefore also a special distinction that FGvW was nominated this year by the specialist magazine "JUVE Rechtsmarkt" as "Law Firm of the Year for the Mittelstand". Every year, this award is presented to a law firm that stands for typical Mittelstand values: client orientation, junior staff policy and law firm culture. We are delighted to be one of five law firms to be nominated for this "Oscar of the lawyer scene" in Germany. The prizes will be awarded on 25th October at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt - with a red carpet and a lot of glamor. We will report - and would be delighted if you would keep your fingers crossed for us!
