Reliability, competence and assertiveness - these are the attributes that characterize our team in distribution law. Specialization, experience and dynamism are the bedrock of our practice. And our success proves us right. Our specialists in distribution law have for many years been amongst Germany's leading lawyers in this field.

Suppliers, sub-suppliers and distribution agents from all industry sectors have been placing their trust in our specialists in distribution law for decades. The main industry sectors we serve are the automotive, medical and pharmaceutical sectors, the insurance and financial services sector, the construction and agricultural machinery sector and the energy sector, where we have a particular emphasis on the distribution of petroleum. We can therefore offer our clients not only our knowledge of distribution law but also our knowledge of the industry - we identify your problems and solve them together with you.

We advise our clients on all matters involving national and European distribution law. Through our international network we can ensure that we can support you on all questions involving distribution law, even internationally beyond Europe's borders.

We advise clients on all forms of distribution, particularly on the law governing commercial agents and authorized dealers, on franchising law and on direct sales. We support businesses from all stages of the supply chain on the drafting and structuring of supply agreements. Our main areas of work include advising clients on selecting the right form of distribution, drafting the contracts and conducting the contract negotiations with the respective market player on the other side of the table. We have the experience in the mandatory implementation of the requirements under distribution-related cartel law and in the civil provisions and case law relating to distribution contracts.

It goes without saying that all of us conduct litigation involving disputes concerning distribution law before the national courts, such as for example disputes concerning claims for compensation under, and analogous to, Paragraph 89 b German Commercial Code (HGB). Together with our international cooperation partners, we can ensure that our clients are represented in all of the major foreign jurisdictions. The members of our team regularly act on national and international arbitration cases. If required, we will represent our clients in proceedings before the national and European cartel authorities.
