FGvW Further Expands Labor Law Practice in Frankfurt with Experienced Litigation Specialist Annette Rölz

Since December 1, 2020, attorney Annette Rölz (44) is strengthening our Frankfurt labor law practice. After Volker Marquart already joined as Of Counsel in August 2020, the team around partner Sabine Schröter gains further clout and many years of experience. While Schröter and Marquart expand the existing project business in the area of reorganization and restructuring, Rölz particularly strengthens the expertise in advising and representing companies and executives.

Annette Rölz is a specialist in labor law and previously worked for 15 years at the renowned labor law boutique Ulrich Weber & Partner in Frankfurt. Rölz is an absolute specialist for all questions of individual and collective labor law. In addition to advising and representing employers of all kinds, the core area of her work includes, in particular, assisting executives in hiring and separation processes. Among the clients Rölz has advised in recent years are numerous managing directors and board members, whom she has accompanied through all instances in prominent disputes. For example, she continues to represent an executive in the VW diesel scandal after joining FGvW.

"With Annette Rölz, we are gaining another accomplished colleague for our nationwide labor law team, who will once again significantly strengthen our litigation practice for executive disputes. This means another important boost for our team in the Frankfurt office as well as for our litigation experienced labor lawyers in Freiburg and Cologne," Barbara Mayer and Carsten Laschet, managing partners of Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner, are pleased to announce.

"FGvW has a great reputation in advising internationally active medium-sized companies and family businesses. Here, I can make excellent use of my know-how in advising and representing executives in litigation," emphasizes Annette Rölz. "In particular, I am looking forward to the entire team in Frankfurt as well as in Berlin, Freiburg and Cologne and the comprehensive advisory approach at Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner as a broadly positioned, cross-regional and internationally active law firm."

Our nationwide labor law practice currently has 15 professionals. Further expansion is planned, particularly at the Berlin and Frankfurt offices. In this way, the firm is responding to the continuing strong increase in demand within the area of reorganization and restructuring, while at the same time strengthening its established labor law consulting and litigation practice.
