Egypt: Legal changes regarding the import of goods

As of March 8th, 2017, new regulations apply in connection with the import of goods to Egypt which are to limit the import of finished products in favour of domestic production. The registration, in particular, will be subject to more stringent rules. Importers will now have six months to meet the new regulations.
