My Digital Revolution: The future of work & politics

Our digital world is exponentially expanding – how tech-savvy do you need to be to survive, both professionally and socially? How important is it for politicians to be social-media present? Let’s talk.

Baden-Württemberg: Connected e.V. (bwcon)  and the German-American Institutes of Baden-Württemberg invite you  to the second GermanAmerican Dialog in Freiburg. bwcon is the leading business initiative for the promotion of the high-tech sectors in the region.  As one of four German-American Institutes in Baden-Württemberg, the Carl-Schurz-Haus/German-American Institute in Freiburg has been over the last six decades an intercultural information center focussed on transatlantic behaviors in culture, politics, and economics. For the second year in a row, the German-American Institutes of Baden-Württemberg and bwcon, together with the United World Robert Bosch College, are turning the attention to exploring and discussing the effects of the ever-prevalent digital revolution. We welcome you to participate in an interdisciplinary discussion in English about the social and political aspects of the digital revolution.

Our partner Gerhard Manz (also in his capacity as board member of bwcon and chairman of Carl-Schurz-Haus Freiburg) and Friederike Schulte, Carl-Schurz-Haus Freiburg, will guide through this afternoon with two panels of professionals and an international audience.

Date and Location:
12 October 2017, UWC Robert Bosch College, Freiburg
