Sebastian von Lossow strengthens corporate and M&A practice of FGvW
We are further expanding our corporate law and M&A practice group and will be strengthened by the addition of lawyer Sebastian von Lossow LL.M. as a partner in April. Sebastian von Lossow, who specializes in company acquisitions and sales as well as real estate transactions, will further strengthen the team at FGvW's new Düsseldorf office.
Sebastian von Lossow began his legal career in 2004 at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. From there, he moved to the US law firm McDermott Will & Emery in 2007, where he worked in the Corporate/M&A practice area, becoming a partner in 2011.
He advises German medium-sized companies primarily on M&A and corporate law. In recent years, Sebastian von Lossow has also focused on real estate transactions and joint ventures, which fits perfectly with the existing real estate expertise of the Düsseldorf office.
At FGvW, he will now work together again with Jessica Hanke and Gregor Lamla, with whom he successfully advised on various transactions and matters at McDermott Will & Emery.
“Sebastian von Lossow's expertise and his many years of experience in advising clients in several key industries will noticeably strengthen the corporate and M&A practice at FGvW,” explains Carsten Laschet, spokesperson for the management board of FGvW. ”With him, we are gaining an excellent, experienced advisor who will deepen our offering in the areas of M&A, joint ventures and real estate transactions here in the Rhineland metropolitan region.”
“I look forward to working closely with both familiar and new colleagues at FGvW and to jointly establishing the new Düsseldorf office in the market,” comments Sebastian von Lossow. ”FGvW combines the advantages of a nationwide law firm for medium-sized companies with strong international connections and a high level of professional expertise across the entire spectrum of full-service advice. This enables us to seamlessly offer clients comprehensive advice at the highest level.”
