FGvW further expands its real estate law practice - Jessica Hanke joins as partner in Cologne

With Jessica Hanke, we are once again gaining an expert for the further expansion of our established real estate law practice as of June 1, 2024. After Gregor Lamla joined our Cologne team in 2022, another experienced specialist is now joining us.

Jessica Hanke advises clients across the entire spectrum of real estate law. Her expertise includes in particular the legal support of complex real estate transactions and project developments. In addition, she advises real estate portfolio holders as well as commercial users and retailers on all questions of asset management, in particular on letting and general real estate law issues.

With her expertise and very good networking in the market, Jessica Hanke enriches the range of advice offered by FGvW's cross-location construction and real estate law practice group, which now has more than 20 professionals nationwide and provides comprehensive advice on real estate law, public and private construction law, plant construction law, commercial tenancy law and all real estate-related transactions and financing and related ESG issues.

Jessica Hanke worked in the real estate practice of McDermott Will & Emery in Düsseldorf for 13 years before joining the firm, and has been a partner since 2020. During her time at McDermott, Jessica Hanke already worked with Gregor Lamla for 10 years. Jessica Hanke started her career in Berlin at Taylor Wessing with a focus on the corporate and real estate notary practice.
