FGvW advises shareholders of RJ Lasertechnik GmbH on sale to Andra Tech Group

FGvW has advised the managing shareholders of RJ Lasertechnik GmbH, based in Übach-Palenberg north of Aachen, on the sale of their shares to the Dutch Andra Tech Group.

RJ Lasertechnik GmbH was founded over 30 years ago as the first spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) in Aachen and is one of the pioneers in industrial laser processing. Today, the company is active in the fields of manufacturing, cleanroom process technology, and laser system engineering. Its customers include medium-sized companies and international corporations in Germany and abroad from the semiconductor technology, mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, laser optics, and aerospace industries.

The managing partner and founder of the company, Dipl.-Ing. Ralf Risters, and the second partner and managing director, Helge Schaper, have both sold their entire shares. Ralf Risters will step down from his position at RJ Lasertechnik after a transition period, while Helge Schaper will remain as general manager.

The buyer is the Dutch Andra Tech Group, which now comprises 11 companies with a total of 12 production sites in Germany and the Netherlands. The group focuses on the manufacture of high-quality, precision mechanical components and assemblies. Customers from various industries, such as the semiconductor, packaging, food, automotive, and aerospace industries, benefit from the individual specializations of the individual companies within the Andra Tech Group.

By merging with the experienced team at RJ Lasertechnik, the Andra Tech Group is not only strengthening its position in the German manufacturing industry, but also gaining specialized expertise in the future-oriented field of laser processing. RJ Lasertechnik GmbH will remain a reliable partner for its customers and will also take on a central role as a center of excellence for laser technology within the group.
