FGvW advises Midstad on the acquisition of another property on Duesseldorf’s Tuchtinsel

FGvW advised the full-service real estate service provider and manager Midstad on the acquisition of an office and commercial building on the so-called “Tuchtinsel” in downtown Düsseldorf.

With the acquisition of the 618 square meter property at Schadowstraße 41 / Berliner Allee 6, the company is completing its own portfolio there, which already includes the properties at Berliner Allee 4 and Schadowstraße 39.

Midstad is planning a comprehensive development of the area that will meet high urban planning requirements while opening up new perspectives for the Duesseldorf city center. In the next step, Midstad will prepare a cooperative competition process for the project, in which citizens will be involved alongside specialist planners.

Midstad was advised on the acquisition by a team specializing in real estate transactions in Düsseldorf, led by partners Dr Jessica Hanke and Gregor Lamla. The team has been working with Midstad for many years in the field of real estate law, particularly in real estate transactions.

The project is one of the first major real estate transactions handled from our sixth office, which opened in Düsseldorf in May 2025.
