FGvW appoints Moritz von Kulessa as Local Partner

We are happy to announce that Moritz von Kulessa LL.B. has been appointed as Local Partner with effect from July 2025.

Moritz von Kulessa studied law at the Universities of Cologne and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and has been an attorney at FGvW since 2020. He is part of the Cologne construction/plant engineering team, which advises clients on German and international energy, infrastructure, and other construction/plant engineering projects. Moritz von Kulessa's focus is on representing clients in project-related litigation, particularly in German and international arbitration proceedings.

Moritz von Kulessa will continue to work closely with Cologne-based plant construction partner Jörn Zons, who emphasizes: “Moritz von Kulessa's appointment as Local Partner is a further significant strengthening of our construction/plant engineering practice, and in particular our project-related arbitration practice. I am particularly pleased that we have once again succeeded in expanding our team from within our own ranks.”
