Real estate law expert Dr Elmar Bickert joins FGvW as partner at the Berlin office

With Dr Elmar Bickert, another construction and real estate law specialist is joining our law firm as of 1 July 2024. After Dr Jessica Hanke had already strengthened the Cologne team as a partner in June 2024, FGvW is now gaining another experienced real estate lawyer at its Berlin office alongside the established Jörg Michael Siecke.

Dr Elmar Bickert's area of expertise comprises real estate and construction law, including the legal aspects of energy and environmental issues in connection with real estate. He has many years of experience in advising on the entire life cycle of real estate, from project development, financing and planning, through construction, modernization, operation, management and use, to the purchase and sale of real estate.

With his expertise and well-established network, Dr Elmar Bickert enriches the range of advice offered by FGvW's cross-location construction and real estate law practice group, which now has more than 20 professionals nationwide. The team provides comprehensive advice on real estate law, public and private construction law, plant construction law, commercial tenancy law and all real estate-related transactions and financing, as well as related ESG issues.

After working for the international law firms Squire Patton Boggs and CMS, among others, Dr Elmar Bickert advised his clients as a partner in HEUSSEN's real estate and construction law practice since 2018.
