FGvW advises future holding company of Bentley InnoMed GmbH on purchase of all shares in QMedics AG

The future parent company of Bentley InnoMed GmbH, signed the purchase agreement for all shares in QMedics AG, based in Flurlingen, Switzerland, on April 21, 2023. The closing is scheduled for July 1, 2023.

QMedics AG is one of the most important suppliers of Bentley InnoMed GmbH. With this acquisition, the company thus secures one of its most important suppliers. QMedics AG also has a complete portfolio of self-expanding stents for peripheral endovascular procedures. The acquisition of QMedics AG thus also offers Bentley InnoMed GmbH the opportunity to accelerate its expansion in the field of interventional radiology.

Bentley InnoMed GmbH is a medical technology company based in Hechingen, Germany. The company specializes in particular in the manufacture and sale of innovative products for the minimally invasive treatment of vascular conditions. Last fall, FGvW was already able to support the company in the acquisition of a so-called crossing catheter (for more details please read: FGvW advises Bentley InnoMed GmbH on MedTech deal with Upstream Peripheral Technologies).
