FGvW expands Corporate/M&A and Healthcare practice - Christina Schröter as new Partner in Cologne

As of September 1, Christina Schröter (43) will strengthen our M&A and corporate law practice in Cologne as a Partner, combined with a focus on healthcare. This is a continuation of our growth strategy and the expansion of our Cologne office.

Christina Schröter was admitted to the bar in 2008 and is a specialist in commercial and corporate law as well as medical law. She was previously a partner in the Corporate/M&A department at VOELKER & Partner's Reutlingen office. There, she headed the M&A department and was instrumental in establishing and expanding transactional advice in the healthcare sector. Prior to that, she worked for 10 years at Luther as well as Pinsent Masons in the area of Corporate/M&A. She is a member of the Scientific Association for Corporate and Business Law (VGR).

"With Christina Schröter, we complement two areas. In addition to Corporate/M&A at the Cologne office, the firm's focus on healthcare will also be expanded, which is part of our strategy for the coming years," explains Carsten Laschet as spokesman for our management. "With the addition of Christina Schröter, we are continuing our growing course to date," Laschet continued.

"I am very pleased to be able to continue my previous work in such a renowned law firm, which, in addition to my focus on transactional law, also has considerable expertise in healthcare. It is now important to fill this with a clear presence in the Rhineland as well," Christina Schröter is pleased to say.

At the Cologne office, she will work closely with our partner Arnt Göppert (Corporate/M&A) as well as the real estate team, which recently grew with the addition of Gregor Lamla. "The expansion of real estate business law is also a declared goal of the firm across all locations," said Laschet.

In healthcare, Christina Schröter will work closely with colleagues active in this area at our offices located in Frankfurt (in particular Sabine Schröter) and Freiburg (in particular Hendrik Thies, Jan Henning Martens and Meike Kapp-Schwoerer).
