FGvW advises shareholder on sale of Cryptshare AG to Swedish Pointsharp Group

Our corporate team advised a shareholder of Cryptshare AG, Dominik Lehr, on the sale of his shares to the Swedish Pointsharp Group.

The owner-managed Cryptshare AG was founded in 2000 and is based in Freiburg. The company develops and distributes software solutions for secure digital communication. By combining ad-hoc file transfer and email encryption, Cryptshare helps its customers to protect data during transfer outside and inside their IT environment. With 75 employees, Cryptshare serves more than 2,000 companies across Europe through its global partner network and is an established vendor in the DACH region, Benelux, UK and Scandinavia.

European cybersecurity group Pointsharp, headquartered in Sweden, was founded in 2006 and is part of Main Capital Partners' portfolio companies. With over 3,000 customers, Pointsharp is one of the leading providers of security software solutions in the European market and continues to expand its market position with the new partner Cryptshare.
