FGvW expands product liability and food law practice - Hildegard Schöllmann joins as Local Partner in Cologne

Hildegard Schöllmann (45) will strengthen our product liability practice in the areas of food and consumer goods law as Local Partner as of December 1, 2021. In addition, Hildegard Schöllmann will further promote the comprehensive advice in food and consumer goods law issues at our Cologne office.

Hildegard Schöllmann has been advising national and international companies on all issues of food law, consumer goods law and cosmetics law as well as in complementary areas of law such as competition law since 2008. She comprehensively accompanies product developments with regard to their composition, labeling as well as their advertising and protectability. She also specializes in the development of viable concepts for food law compliance, including advice on risk and complaint management as well as in recall and damage cases. She represents companies in disputes with competitors and authorities, including criminal and sanction proceedings. Hildegard Schöllmann is currently a partner in the law firm KWG Rechtsanwälte in Gummersbach/Brussels, which specializes in food law and related areas of law.
