FGvW Further Expanding in Frankfurt: Hannes Reiher Strengthens Construction and Real Estate Law Practice Group

We continue to expand our nationwide real estate practice. Hannes Reiher (39), certified specialist in construction and architectural law, joined our Frankfurt office as a local partner on May 1, 2020. Only in April, lawyer and notary Christoph Börskens became a partner in our Frankfurt real estate team led by Tom Erdt. Later this year, the real estate transaction expert Jörg Michael Siecke and an associate will join our new office in Berlin.

Hannes Reiher has specialized in complex issues regarding construction law. He advises construction companies as well as institutional investors or public clients during all stages of larger construction projects, including drafting of contracts and construction-related advice as well as dispute resolution, and litigation. Hannes Reiher also has profound experience in advising architects and planners as well as with regard to legal advice in plant engineering. Another focus of his work is the support of sellers and buyers in connection with real estate transactions.

Hannes Reiher started his legal career in 2011 at Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte, a law firm which is active in the areas of private construction law, public procurement law and real estate law. In 2017 he became a partner at the Frankfurt office of Breyer Rechtsanwälte, a firm focusing on the same areas.

Together with Hannes Reiher, associate Philipp Stiebing has joined us. They will strengthen the expertise in the area of private construction law and complement our real estate practice.

"With Hannes Reiher, we are gaining another construction and real estate specialist with a wealth of legal experience who will push ahead the expansion of our nationwide practice group," explains our managing partner Barbara Mayer. "In addition to real estate transactions, we are increasingly handling large construction projects of our Mittelstand clients as well as alongside construction companies and investors. It is important that we are now able to provide high-performance advisory teams at each of our four locations", adds our managing partner Carsten Laschet.

With the recently opened Berlin office and the recent arrival of lawyer and notary Christoph Börskens in Frankfurt, our  powerful property and construction  team will consist of 22 professionals around the partners Tom Erdt in Frankfurt (5), Uwe Steingröver, Arnt Göppert, Jörn Zons and Markus Beaumart in Cologne (9), Volker Stehlin and Friederike Schäffler in Freiburg (5) and Jörg Michael Siecke in Berlin (3) completed by four specialists in public law around partner Olaf Konzak in Cologne.
