FGvW-Local Partner Anneliese Moritz elected to the executive committee (Präsidium) of the Business Association for Latin America

Our expert for Latin America Anneliese Moritz was elected to the executive committee (Präsidium) of the Lateinamerikaverein e.V. - Business Association for Latin America (LAV). by the occasion of the association's general meeting on May 29, 2018.

The 37-year-old FGvW's local partner is responsible for advising German, Swiss, Austrian and French companies in relation to their business in Latin America. She came in May 2017 from the Brazilian law firm Felsberg Advogados in São Paulo, with which FGvW works closely. Anneliese Moritz assists clients from the automotive, finance, logistics, medical technology and pharmaceutical/food industries in their Brazilian day-to-day business as well as in corporate transactions and restructurings.

Founded over a hundred years ago by merchants from Hamburg and Bremen, the LAV is one of the leading business networks and an information platform for the German economy with business interests in Latin America. The LAV supports companies of all  sectors in establishing and expanding their business activities in Latin America. At the same time, the LAV promotes economic, political and social relations between Germany and the countries of the region. The LAV is an integral part of the Latin America Initiative of German Business (LAI).

As a member of the Executive Committee, Anneliese Moritz will actively contribute to the exchange of experience between Germany and Latin America and to a better understanding of the opportunities that the markets in Central and South America offer to German companies.
