Susanne Lüddecke - Specialist Lawyer for Employment Law

Since August 1st, 2017, Susanne Lüddecke (46) boosts the Labor Law Division at the Frankfurt office as Local Partner.

Susanne Lüddecke began her career in 2001 as an attorney in the Düsseldorf office of Taylor Wessing, before she moved to Osborne Clarke in Frankfurt. In 2003, she joined the Frankfurt office of Taylor Wessing, where she was appointed in 2016 to the position of salaried partner.

Susanne Lüddecke advises in individual and collective labor law, frequently with an international reference. She conducts proceedings in labor courts throughout Germany, as well as having many years of experience in working with labor law on reorganizations (including balance of interests and social plan negotiations), post-merger integration processes and corporate transactions. A focus of her work relates to the field of international staff operations, as well as clarification of maintenance law issues arising in this connection.

Alik Dörn, LL.M.

On September 1, 2017, lawyer Alik Dörn (44) joined us as local partner from Bird & Bird.

Alik Dörn is an expert in real estate, administrative and regulatory law and especially in public procurement law. He advises efficiently in complex and politically ambitious projects ensuring legal compliance in a pragmatic way. He has been providing legal advice in the area of real estate, regulatory and administrative law since 2004. Before joining FGvW he worked with Bird & Bird, Clifford Chance and KPMG Law.

Alik Dörn advises public clients (federal government, states, local authorities, public utilities, public financial institutions, universities, etc.) and private clients in the healthcare, transport/public transport, waste disposal, real estate, facility management and energy sectors and investors in particular in the areas of real estate, procurement, regulatory and state-aid law.

Dr. Stephan Dittl - Specialist Lawyer for Copyright Law and Media Law

Since October 2017, the renowned copyright expert Dr Stephan Dittl (44) is leading the IP / litigation department of FGvW in Frankfurt.

The specialist for copyright and media law switched to us from the Frankfurt firm SALGER Rechtsanwälte, to which he came in 2008 from Büsing, Müffelmann & Theye; shortly afterwards, he was appointed partner. Stephan Dittl advises on all areas of IP law, mainly in the fields of copyright and competition law. He also uses his expertise in the legal process in other commercial law court proceedings, for example in distribution law, frequently with an international reference. He also works on IP topics in the context of M&A transactions.

Heinz-Werner Ehlgen

Since 1 October 2017, Heinz-Werner Ehlgen, a renowned expert in the consulting of high-tech companies, has been strengthening the IP practice group at the Frankfurt location as an Of Counsel.

Heinz-Werner Ehlgen is a proven specialist in advising industrial companies in the areas of contract law, copyright and media law. He joined Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner as Of Counsel from the Frankfurt law firm SALGER Rechtsanwälte. Before joining SALGER, he worked for more than 20 years as a partner at BMT Büsing, Müffelmann & Theye in Berlin and Frankfurt.

Heinz-Werner Ehlgen advises in all areas of industrial contract law. His main focus is the automotive industry and in particular the modern drive and locomotion technologies (engine / transmission / autonomous driving etc.). He also advises on copyright issues of broadcasting companies and on legal questions concerning the modern distribution of media content such as Internet and streaming.
