FGvW advises SÜDVERS-GRUPPE on Takeover of Hannoversche Versicherungs-Vermittlung AG

On January 1, 2017 the financial service provider and insurance broker SÜDVERS Gruppe with headquarters in Au near Freiburg took over Hannoversche Versicherungs-Vermittlung AG. The takeover allows SÜDVERS to strengthen its regional presence in the north and centre of Germany.

The subsidiary will support existing customers, serve SÜDVERS customers located in the regions of Lower Saxony, Westphalia and Saxony-Anhalt and also develop new customer relations. All the employees of the Hannoversche Versicherungs-Vermittlung AG will be taken on. There are plans to further expand the personnel and achieve organic growth at the subsidiary in the region.

The SÜDVERS-GRUPPE was advised on the takeover by an M&A team from the Freiburg office of the commercial law firm Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner under the guidance of Dr. Barbara Mayer.
