Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner Strengthens its Frankfurt Office: Sabine Schröter from Taylor Wessing joins the Employment Law Team

Commercial law firm Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner continues to promote its growth and the further development of its Frankfurt office. As of 1 April 2016, Sabine Schröter will strengthen the employment law practice of the Frankfurt office as an additional partner.

Sabine Schröter’s career as a lawyer began in the Freiburg office of FGvW in 2005, before she joined Taylor Wessing in Frankfurt in 2010. There she was made partner in 2012.

Sabine Schröter provides advice in the field of individual employment law and collective employment law and conducts nationwide employment law litigation. In addition, she is very experienced in advising clients with regard to employment law issues in connection with corporate acquisitions, reorganizations (including negotiations regarding reconciliation of interests and social plans), as well as restructurings, often with an international aspect. One focus of her work lies in the field of private, church and public hospitals and other life science businesses, a practice area which is already of great importance at Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner.

Sabine Schröter will not only closely cooperate with our Frankfurt partner Tom Erdt and experienced employment law associate Ali Machdi-Ghazvini, but will also and in particular cooperate with her colleagues in the practice areas M&A and restructuring in Freiburg and Cologne on transactional matters.
Barbara Mayer and Carsten Laschet note that “Sabine Schröter knows our firm and our cooperative and entrepreneurial approach very well. We are convinced that she is a perfect match for our firm and will greatly contribute to the success of our Frankfurt office and the firm as a whole.”

Sabine Schröter adds that “by joining Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner I am returning to a law firm that offers high level specialized legal advice to commercial businesses while at the same time allowing me to advance my entrepreneurial development without strict guidelines. The fact that the individual compatibility of partnership and family goes without saying at Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner has further confirmed my decision.”
