Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner advises JBT Corporation in relation to German Law Aspects of Acquisition of Leading Protein Processing Equipment Company

JBT Corporation (“JBT”), a global technology solutions provider to the food processing and air transportation industries, has purchased the assets of Wolf-tec, Inc. (“Wolf-tec”). The purchase price for the assets was US$54 million, before customary post-closing adjustments.

Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner was involved in this transaction in connection with, amongst others, the conclusion of various agreements with German partners to Wolf-tec, the conclusion of which agreements was a pre-requisite to JBT purchasing Wolf-tec’s assets, in order to ensure the continuation of the business post-acquisition.
