In each edition of our international newsletter, we introduce you to one of our lawyers. Today, it is the turn of Philipp Wiesenecker from our new Frankfurt office.  

Philipp Wiesenecker joined Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner as partner in our new Frankfurt office on 1 January 2014. Philipp was born in 1975, was admitted as a lawyer in 2006, and is an accredited specialist (Fachanwalt) for employment law. He advises and represents clients from, amongst others, the chemical, medical, wholesale, retail, hotel and financial services sector in relation to employment law matters such as terminations and individual employment law, industrial relations law, restructurings and transactions. Philipp is particularly interested in the international and European influences that are being exerted onto German employment law, and is an active member of the Labour Law Commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).

Philipp will work closely with our Freiburg office's employment law team, which consists of nine lawyers since 1 January 2014, and will play an important role in advancing the regional expansion of Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner, amongst others by way of publications and presentations.

Philipp lives in Frankfurt with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he loves cooking, visiting the Alte Oper (which is directly across from our Frankfurt office), playing strategy games and jogging along the Main - if possible, all at once.
