The profession of tax consultants is essentially subject to the following regulations:

StBG - Tax Consultancy Act
DVStB - Implementing Regulation for the Tax Consultant Act
BOStB - Statute on the rights and obligations in the exercise of the professions of tax adviser and tax agent - Professional code of conduct
StBVV - Regulation on tax consultant fees

Self-employed tax consultants and tax consulting companies are obliged to take out and maintain professional liability insurance in accordance with the Regulation on the Implementation of the Provisions for Tax Consultants, Tax Agents and Tax Consulting Companies (DVStB). Further details can be found in section 51 DVStB. The minimum insurance sum for the individual insured event is 250,000 Euro.

Professional indemnity insurance for the partnership and the lawyers pursuant to sections 51, 51a BRAO is in force with AXA Versicherung AG, Colonia-Allee 10-20, 51067 Cologne.

Notary
