Sarah Gonzales will give a brief overview of the legal education in the US and the types of degrees offered. Moreover, she will give you insights on how to find the best type of degree and the best school for you as well as on how to get into these schools. In this context she will give tips on writing a personal statement, selecting a recommender and on special considerations.

Having lived abroad for 15 years in China, Taiwan, Philippines, Columbia and Ecuador prior to settling in the US, Sarah Gonzales is Assistant Director of the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law, which has been ranked by US News and World Report as the #1 dispute resolution program for the past 10 years. She has worked at Pepperdine for over 11 years and is in charge of recruitment, marketing and admissions for graduate law programs.
