MAQUET Medical Systems AG has acquired more than 78% of the shares in Pulsion Medical Systems SE ("Pulsion") by way of a public offer. Pulsion is listed on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Securities Exchange (Prime Standard). It specialises in the manufacture of diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy management systems for critical bodily functions. The "Critical Care" business division develops and produces monitoring, diagnosis, and therapy management systems for recording physiological parameters (known as 'hemodynamic monitoring'). The "Perfusion" business division develops and produces systems for image-based diagnostics, which systems render the blood circulation through individual vessels, organs, and certain tissues visible.
